Vacancy Announcement: Lecturer for different departments.

Dhaka School of Economics (DScE), a constituent institution of the University of Dhaka invites applications for the following posts

Lecturer: Environmental and Resource Economics (1 position)

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates having Masters in Environmental Economics/Economics are encouraged to apply.
  • Higher qualifications in those subjects along with knowledge of GIS and mathematical economics will be treated as additional qualifications.

Lecturer: Development Economics (1 position)

Education Requirements:

  • MA/MSS/MS in Economics/ Development Economics with BA/BSS/BSc (Hons) in Economics.
  • Preference will be given to those who have Ph.D. or M.Phil degree/teaching/research experience.

Lecturer: Entrepreneurship Economics (1 position)

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates having Masters in Entrepreneurship Economics, MBA majoring in Entrepreneurship/ Marketing/Finance/HRM/Masters in IT/Public Administration and Economics are encouraged to apply.
  • Higher qualifications in those subjects will be treated as an additional qualifications. Industry experience or Publication in a blind peer-reviewed journals will be preferred.

General Requirements:

  • Organizing new programmes and guiding programme curriculum according to the rules of the University of Dhaka will be part of the responsibilities for all the teaching posts.
  • 1st classes both in Bachelor with honors and Master Degrees or GPA/CGPA at least 3.50 out of 4.
  • Preference will be given to the candidates who secured GPA 4 or above out of 5 at secondary and higher secondary levels.
  • Salary to be offered will depend on qualifications.
  • Candidates are required to write the position applied for on the top of the envelope.
