Ex. Governor of Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of the country. Scholarly contributed at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) in different capacities for nearly 28 years and retired as Senior Research Fellow in 2006. Also served as director of the state-owned Sonali Bank, the largest bank in Bangladesh.
