Shuvashish Paul is the lecturer of Development Economics Program. He is a graduate of Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and he has a specialized master’s degree in Master of Economics (MEcon) in development Economics form Dhaka School of Economics, University of Dhaka with tremendous academic records and awards. He is also an enlisted research fellow of Social Science Research Council (SSRC), Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh. He is the young and dynamic academician with experience of core economic researches, development economics and international trade and sustainability. He has a good command on quantitative economics with the expertise on time series analysis and forecasting with R, general equilibrium model (GEM), and social accounting matrix (SAM). His research interest is on Development Economics, Behavioral Economics, Labor and Migration (NELM vs. classical theories), and Microeconometrics.

‘Prevalence and Predictors of Undernutrition among Underprivileged Children of Tea Garden Workers in Sylhet’- under a research award in ‘Promotional Research Category’ funded by Social Science Research Council (SSRC), Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh (GoB).
